Application in smelting equipment

Blast furnace equipment: The distributor rotating mechanism of the blast furnace requires high-precision bearings to ensure the uniformity and accuracy of the fabric. These bearings work in high temperature and dusty environments, and must have good sealing and high temperature resistance. For example, a special sealing structure and high temperature resistant grease are used to ensure the normal operation of the bearings in harsh environments. The bearings in the furnace top lifting device bear huge loads, and at the same time ensure the smooth and accurate lifting action. Large rolling bearings are widely used here, and their bearing capacity and reliability are directly related to the production safety and efficiency of the blast furnace.

Converter equipment: The tilting mechanism of the converter is a key part, in which the large gears and bearings work together to realize the tilting and reset action of the converter. These bearings need to withstand huge tilting moments and impact loads, so specially designed heavy-duty bearings are usually used, and they must have good impact resistance and wear resistance. The oxygen lance lifting device of the converter is also inseparable from the support of the bearing. The oxygen lance works in the environment of high temperature and high-speed airflow, and the bearing of the lifting mechanism must be able to adapt to this harsh condition to ensure the accurate position control and stable operation of the oxygen lance.

Application in rolling equipment

Hot rolling equipment:The work roll and support roll bearings of the hot rolling mill are key components. Under the working conditions of high temperature, high load and high speed, these bearings need to have good heat resistance, load-bearing capacity and lubrication properties. For example, special high temperature resistant materials and lubrication systems are used to ensure the normal operation of the bearings during the hot rolling process. The coiler of the hot-rolled strip also needs high-performance bearings. In the process of coiling the strip at high speed, the bearings have to withstand huge tension and friction, so they need to have high strength and good wear resistance.

Cold rolling equipment: The roll bearings of cold rolling mills require higher precision and surface quality to guarantee the thickness uniformity and surface finish of the cold rolled sheet. Precision rolling bearings are widely used here, and their accuracy grades are usually P4 or higher. Bearings in the tension control system of cold rolling mills also play a key role. These bearings need to precisely control the tension of the strip to ensure the stability of the cold rolling process and product quality.

Applications in conveying and handling equipment

Belt conveyor: Both the drive drum and the idler of the belt conveyor use bearings. The bearings that drive the rollers need to withstand large torque and radial loads, while the bearings of the idlers need to adapt to long-term continuous operation and small radial loads. In metallurgical enterprises, the working environment of the belt conveyor is usually harsh, with a lot of dust and humidity, so the bearings need to have good dustproof and waterproof performance. The bearings in the tensioning device of the belt conveyor are also very important. The tensioning device adjusts the tension of the belt to ensure the normal operation of the conveyor, and its bearings need to have good reliability and adjustment performance.

Cranes and vehicles: Cranes and vehicles in metallurgical enterprises are used to lift various heavy objects, and their lifting mechanism, running mechanism and rotating mechanism are inseparable from bearings. The drum bearings of the lifting mechanism need to bear huge tensile and impact loads, the wheel bearings of the running mechanism need to adapt to heavy loads and frequent starting and braking working conditions, and the bearings of the rotating mechanism need to ensure the smooth rotation of the crane.

Bearing selection and maintenance points

Selection principle: According to the working characteristics and requirements of metallurgical equipment, choose the appropriate bearing type. For example, for heavy-duty and impact load equipment, roller bearings should be selected; for high-speed running equipment, ball bearings or high-precision roller bearings should be selected. Considering the factors of the working environment, such as temperature, humidity, corrosiveness, etc., choose bearings with corresponding protective properties. For example, high-temperature bearings should be selected in high-temperature environments, and corrosion-resistant bearings should be selected in corrosive environments. According to the accuracy requirements and installation space of the equipment, choose the appropriate bearing accuracy grade and size specifications.

Maintenance measures: Regularly check the running status of the bearing, including temperature, noise, vibration, etc., find problems in time and deal with them. For example, when the bearing temperature is too high or abnormal noise occurs, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, find out the cause and repair. Keep the bearing clean and lubricated. Regularly clean the bearing, replace the grease or lubricating oil to ensure that the bearing works in a good lubrication state. In the metallurgical environment, there is a lot of dust and impurities, so it is necessary to strengthen the sealing and protection of the bearing to prevent contaminants from entering the inside of the bearing. For damaged bearings, it is necessary to replace them in time. When replacing the bearing, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure the installation quality and accuracy. At the same time, the relevant parts should be inspected and maintained to ensure the normal operation of the entire equipment.
